Firmware Update 3.30 for Sony Play Station 3 in live concerns

PS3Sony’s word famous gaming console Play Station 3 is loved by all types of gamers and movie enthusiasts alike. The console uses the latest technology and three dimensional gaming techniques. Although the PS3 has a worthy competitor by the name of XBOX360 from Microsoft, it is believed that the PS3 processing and graphics hardware contains features that are not used in current games, and will be unleashed as the software of the games evolves. Simply put, presently it may run games at the same quality as XBOX360, but in the future the same PS3 is going to show an exponential improvement in 3d quality of the games.
On top of that the PS3 has advanced one step further from all the consoles in the world by releasing a firmware update (version 3.30) for 3D viewing for games and movies. That essentially means that you’d be able to watch movies on your TV just like in a 3D theatre, and the same goes for the games. Gamers would be able to experience games in full 3D wide angle viewing. Of course this won’t apply until the Sony Bravia 3D TV comes out, but still, whenever it comes out your PS3 would be ready for it, by the help of the new firmware version 3.30.
A firmware is a kind of an operating system for the PS3, so upgrading the firmware to 3.30 means that you’d be getting a lot of new features like the 3D viewing support and a special trophy management for all your games. The trophy management is a system by which you could share your progress in all your games with your friends to see who is better at what game.

Buying the Counterfeit May Cost You More Than You Thought in live concerns

Buying the Counterfeit May Cost You More Than You ThoughtWe want to look good but can’t always afford designer-name sunglasses. So what do some of us do? We buy a cheap knockoff or “gray market” item that looks just like the designer brand name, without the designer price. It signals to others — we hope — that we’re as cool and “with it” as anyone else (even when we can’t afford to be).
But we may be getting more than we thought.
We are all aware of the potential consequences of buying fake, counterfeit items on the street — you might get a shabby knockoff or pay too much for it. But outside of questionable quality of such goods, there may be others costs you’re not even aware of. Buying counterfeit goods may actually make us feel less authentic — just like the cheap, knockoff sunglasses.
Worse yet, buying such goods may also increase our likelihood of behaving dishonestly and judging others as unethical.

In a series of four laboratory experiments, researcher Francesca Gino (2010) and colleagues set off to determine what, if any, impact buying counterfeit goods had on a person’s own self-evaluation and evaluation of others. What did they find?

Pretty wild. Simply wearing a pair of fake sunglasses influenced participants’ behavior in the experiment in ways they weren’t even aware of. People who wore fake sunglasses cheated more and were more likely to see others’ behaviors as unethical. People who wore the fake product felt more inauthentic, which the researchers theorized drove their changes in behavior.
It’s an interesting conclusion, but it has some limitations. The research was done only on female college students, so it’s not clear if we’d find the same behavior in men, or in older women and men. Indeed, a drive for acceptance and status is more often felt amongst younger individuals than those who are older and no longer feel the need to wear the latest fashion name in order to fit in. Women may also have a different reaction to wearing or using fake products than men.
It’s an intriguing finding to be aware of nonetheless, because it may impact not only the individual who buys and wears the counterfeit good, but those that person interacts with as well.

10 Things Women Love About Men in live concerns

Men: Can't live with 'em, can't stop checking out their butts when they pass us on the street.
As fierce, independent women, we like to think that we don't need men. We can change our own tires…open our own jars…move our own furniture…Still, it sure is nice to have men around. Guys: Consider this a love letter from us to you. Below, ten things women love about men.— Steph Auteri
1. Their bodies. Yep, we said it. Even the scrawny hipster-types have biceps that make us swoon. Their hands are almost always bigger than ours. No matter what size a guy is, he can always make us feel small and delicate. And what's with those beautiful, provocative veins guys have on their arms? And facial hair! Sure, it gets scratchy, but it looks so darn sexy.
2. Their innate ability to do and understand things we can't. We hate having to rely on anyone but ourselves but sometimes it's just easier to ask him to take care of it. We beg forgiveness for the gross generalizations that are about to follow, but we always ask him to carry heavy objects up the stairs (that's mainly because of laziness; we're perfectly capable), hang pictures and kill large, scary bugs. Though after that time he pretended to throw that bug carcass at us and we screamed like a 5-year-old girl, we might not ask him again.
3. Their secret sensitive side. When a guy cries in front of you, it can feel as if you've won the emotional lottery. Tears are a sign of extreme intimacy, and the fact that he's let down his guard probably means that he cares about you deeply and trusts you. We also love it when we catch our man staring at us with what can only be described as "tenderness." And when he pulls us close for a quick hug, or kisses the top of our heads, our hearts just melt.
4. Their scent. Their body wash. Their aftershave. Their (subtly-spritzed-on) cologne. Their natural, musky fragrance. All of it combines to create a perfume we can't help wanting to envelop ourselves in. The Scent of Attraction

DKNY Pure (2010): More than just a Drop of Vanilla {Perfume Review} in live concerns

dkny-pure-bottle-B.jpg
"PureDKNY speaks to the core essence of who I am and what I want to touch -- the people and children I love, and being at one with nature, It's about those little moments that bring you joy, pure and simple. Sometimes, those simple things are the hardest to find."

Donna Karan

Pure by DKNY was launched around the globe in February 2010 but won't officially launch in the US before July. According to WWD, it is a fragrance that wants to promote ethical living and the feminine condition, ideas that are embodied by a single raw material, vanilla from Uganda, which was sourced with the help of humanitarian association Care in order to help Ugandan women. "CARE is excited to partner with PureDKNY on an initiative that will support women in Uganda, while also educating U.S. consumers about the important role women play in breaking the cycle of global poverty," said Helene D. Gayle, president and chief executive officer of CARE.

The fragrance is taking for symbol of its mission "a drop of vanilla" which illustrates the idea of making small incremental differences in the world, one drop of soothing-smelling vanilla at a time.

Notes: dewdrop petal accord, lotus flower, Bulgarian rose; transparent jasmine, freesia, lush orchid; white amber, creamy sandalwood and vanilla in water.

P-Letter-TSS-B.jpgPure by DKNY opens on a sweet note and much more tonka bean than I would expect from a fragrance called "Pure." It is actually the Ugandan vanilla note which is the central note of the composition, one that was described by Trudi Loren of Estée Lauder as offering a unique "creamy fluidity." It is not so ethereal after all. I expected a more crystalline, impalpable scent after browsing the advertising campaign featuring Angela Lindvall. Rather, it seems to pull the fragrance in the direction of a pure nursery ambiance of cuddly smells like vanilla-scented cereals cream for babies and tots but as if it were lingering on a blue woolen blanket near a bottle of baby powder and then - as it gained some intensity - could be traced back to mommy's perfume. The "tonka" which is not officially listed but could have been added to reinforce the vanilla-in-water accord is a bit mineral and "hard;" I realize after a little while that this stony aspect in my mind is one I associate with laundry-detergent-types of white musks which are not particularly subtle and seem to have been contaminated by the hard water in which they are meant to swish around...

perfume for men ii in live concerns

omega-aqua-terra.jpg

O-Letter-TSS.jpgOmega watches have released their first men's fragrance called Omega Aqua Terra. It was composed for the elegant and sport-oriented man by perfumer Alberto Morillas who happens to be a connoisseur and collector of luxury watches.

"Like the watch, the fragrance conveys the essence of the wearer's personality. Just as there is a subtle complicity between the watch and its owner, there is an understated bond between a man and the fragrance he
chooses."...
"Like the watch, the fragrance is in direct contact with his skin. His watch is the first accessory he puts on in the morning and the last one he takes off at night (if, indeed, he takes it off). He also puts his fragrance on before he leaves the house in the morning and it will be an intimate expression of his personality throughout the day."
The eau de toilette is said to be both an aromatic woody scent with spicy and fresh facets. It includes notes of of bergamot, grapefruit, tangerine, petitgrain, clary sage; jasmine, red pepper bell, and violet leaves; luxurious woods, refined oak moss, patchouli, vetiver and musk.

The opaque black flacon for the scent reveals a watch-like precision feature on its sides which allows the perfume-wearer to gauge the level of remaining fragrance while the perfume benefits from the protective effect of a light-resistant material.

Available exclusively in Omaga boutiques in 50 and 100 ml bottles. It comes with a "a reusable micro-fibre pouch which can be used to polish a watch face, jewellery or glasses. "

perfume for men in live concerns

ebene-balmain-new.jpgebene-balmain-new.jpgBalmain Parfums will reintroduce their classic men's cologne Ebène (Ebony) originally launched in 1983 this summer. The aromatic leather fougère in the style of the 70s-80s had been discontinued while being still visibly on demand. Repeated "out of stock" mentions at online discounters continue to signal its enduring desirability...

The relaunch of Ebène is scheduled for towards the end of June, beginning of July 2010.

This time and reading in-between the lines of the olfactory description of the fragrance, the scent will likely benefit from the advances in the technology of perfume where fresh facets and citrus notes are concerned.

"Ebony the king of trees since the dawn of time is a precious wood which heralds riches, power and glory...

Offering a powerful harmony of hesperidic and woody notes, Ebony is a tenacious and fresh perfume
."

The Eau de Toilette opens on notes of bergamot, lemon, anise and thyme. The heart comprises rose, jasmine, geranium, pine, cinnamon, carnation. The base notes rest on oakmoss, patchouli, musk, labdanum, tonka bean.

In the original French:

"L'Ebène, le roi des arbres depuis la nuit des temps, bois précieux, annonciateur de richesses, de puissance et de gloire...

Harmonie puissante de notes hespéridées et boisées, EBENE est un parfum frais et tenace.
"Notes de Tête

Bergamote, Citron, Anis, Thym

Notes de Cœur

Rose, Jasmin, Géranium, Pin, Cannelle, Œillet

Notes de Fond

Toshiba Launches 32-Bit TMPM380 Microcontroller and live concerns

Toshiba (News - Alert) America Electronic Components, Inc., a company specializing in electronic components, has launched a new 32-bit microcontroller or MCU, the TMPM380 capable of delivering improved operating characteristics, including better energy efficiency and more precise control.
Company officials said that the new TMPM380 MCU was specifically designed for the digital control of high-current circuits commonly found in industrial or appliance applications.
Powered by a 40 MHz ARM (News - Alert) Cortex-M3 processor core, Toshiba's TMPM380 is designed to provide higher performance than the 8- and 16-bit MCUs.
"With the TMPM380 MCU, we are bringing a higher level of digital processing to industrial and appliance applications at a lower price point," Andrew Burt, vice president of the Imaging and Communications Marketing Group in the ASSP Business unit at TAEC said.
"By implementing the TMPM380 MCU in their designs, engineers will be able to develop cookers, pumps, compressors, motors or any system controlled by inverters or discrete power devices with better operating characteristics or additional features without increasing system cost," Burt added.
As stated, Toshiba's TMPM380 MCU uses a specialized pulse-width modulation or PWM circuit, which can generate three-phase control for motor circuits or a 16-bit programmable pulse generator control for circuits employing power semiconductors such as insulated gate bipolar transistors or field-effect transistors. The MCU has an on-board 12-bit analog/digital converter that can synchronize with the PWM unit to read back system state at critical times.  The device also has several safety and fault tolerance features, including software support of the IED 60730B safety standard and oscillator frequency and low voltage detectors.
Additionally, the TMPM380 uses zero-wait state FLASH and SRAM that assures latency time does not vary in unpredictable ways.  With this as the key benefit, designers can develop applications that require deterministic timing.  In addition, the MCU's Cortex-M3 core offers fast interrupt response, typical in applications where real-time operating systems need to quickly adapt to varying inputs, such as with appliances.
Company officials mentioned that the engineering samples of TMPM380 MCU are available with immediate effect and  the pricing starts with the TMPM382FSFG - 64K Flash / 8K SRAM at $1.90 per unit in 10,000 unit quantities.

Toshiba Creates 21 Inch Glasses-Free 3-D Display and live concerns

Using a multi-parallax design, Toshiba Mobile Display is hoping to break the glasses-free size barrier.
Parallax displays seem to be all the rage with R&D teams these days. The release of the Nintendo 3DS is almost certainly going to help kick development into high gear, but Toshiba, it seems, is already there. While most companies are sticking with smaller screens, Toshiba has announces a 21 inch display.

21 inches isn't much, but it's a lot more than most other companies are doing. It's also pretty risky, considering the technology. Parallax technology incorporates a very small viewing angle, and Toshiba's new set is no exception. There's only a 30 degree viewing angle for a 3-D picture. There are, however, nine different directions that the picture can be viewed from.
Toshiba's display is also a bit different in that it's not just meant to be looked at straight on like a computer monitor. Toshiba calls that 'vertical mode,' and says that while the 3D is good in that mode, it doesn't compare to 'horizontal mode' which is when the screen is lying flat on the ground, or on a table. "Compared with the front view," says Toshiba, "the 3D images seen face-up from the bird’s eye view are more stereoscopic and realistic."

IBM, Apple--world's most valuable brands in live concerns

The top 10 most valuable brands in the world
(Credit: Millward Brown Optimor)

google is the world's strongest brand for the fourth straight year, according to a study released Wednesday by research firm Millward Brown Optimor.
Analyzing the world's strongest brands, the fifth annual "BrandZ Top 100 report" examined consumer opinions and market data on brands to assign each one a certain value and then translated that value into dollars to rank the top 100.
Tech companies took the top four spots with No. 1 Google followed by IBM, Apple, and Microsoft.
Google, IBM, and Apple all grew in brand value from 2009, noted Millward Brown, even amid a recession. Overall, the tech sector was one of the few business categories to show growth from 2009, rising 6 percent based on continued spending from both companies and consumers.
"In the past, many companies were quick to cut their marketing spend during a down economy," Millward Brown CEO Joanna Seddon said in a statement. "A new trend has emerged in the wake of the recession as more companies realized the importance of maintaining and even increasing budgets to support brand loyalty and engagement."
In deciding loyalty, consumers take into account several factors, the study asserts. Sustainability, social responsibility, and trust were among the key concerns in driving brand loyalty. The ability to personalize a product was another factor--and one that played a role in brand value for tech companies. Examples cited in the study: Google users can create personalized home pages, and Apple iPhone users can customize their phones by downloading apps.
Among other tech brands on the list, Hewlett-Packard came in at No. 12, RIM's BlackBerry was No. 14, Amazon.com was No. 15, and Oracle was No. 19.
Some tech companies dropped in brand dollar value from last year, including Nokia (No. 43), which sunk 58 percent; Intel (No. 48), which declined 38 percent; and eBay (No. 76), which fell 28 percent. But other major tech brands, such as Verizon (No. 20), AT&T (No. 22), SAP (No. 21), and Sony (No. 94) all rose in value. Samsung (No. 68) outshone all companies with the highest gain, showing 80 percent growth in brand value from last year.
Social networking figured into Millward Brown's study. Although it didn't make the top 100 list, Facebook debuted in the tech sector for the first time with a brand dollar value of $5.5 billion. Beyond that, the study found that social media itself was a growing trend among companies looking to build brand awareness.
Millward Brown, which is owned by advertising and communications giant WPP, generates its BrandZ Top 100 report by interviewing more than a million consumers worldwide and analyzing each company's financial and business performance.

IBM Raises Dividend, Plans Stock Buyback and live concerns

IBM plans to raise its quarterly dividend by 18% to 65 cents per share, which is good for a 2% annualized yield, according to Investor’s Business Daily. The company has been raising its dividend for 15 years in a row.

IBD reported that IBM announced at its shareholder meeting that it will buy back $8 billion worth of stock, on top of the $2 billion repurchasing plan the company announced in March. Further stock buybacks would be considered in October.

Stock buybacks are often received positively by investors because they indicate that a company believes in its own stock, according to IBD. Repurchases can also reduce the supply of shares in the market, another positive for the stock.

HP Offers HP ePrint for BlackBerry Smartphones at WES 2010 and live concerns

ORLANDO, Fla., Apr 27, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- HP /quotes/comstock/13*!hpq/quotes/nls/hpq (HPQ 52.74, -0.54, -1.01%) today announced that BlackBerry(R) smartphone users attending Wireless Enterprise Symposium (WES) 2010 will have access to a free download demo of HP ePrint for printing on the go.
Announced last week, the HP ePrint application is based on HP CloudPrint technology and allows for mobile printing anytime, anywhere from BlackBerry smartphones.(1)
As a result of the HP and RIM strategic alliance announced last year, the solution enables companies to add printing from BlackBerry smartphones to their cloud computing capabilities. HP ePrint enables users to print presentations, reports, emails, travel documents and more to a company's networked printers, or to certain public print locations.
WES attendees can download the HP ePrint application at www.hp.com/go/eprintmobile and then wirelessly print documents using the following easy steps:
-- First, users click the application's Print button on their BlackBerry smartphone after selecting the email or attachment to print.
-- Second, they search for and choose a Printspot(TM) location -- similar to a simple web search -- and click to select.
-- Third, users confirm the printer and the document to be printed, and then click Print to send the job to the printer. A release code is emailed and users enter the code on the keypad attached to the selected printer to release the print job.
"WES attendees have the first opportunity to take advantage of HP ePrint to stay productive by printing to Printspot printer locations," said Victor Garcia, chief technology officer, Hewlett-Packard (Canada) Co. "HP is committed to empowering users to capitalize on business opportunities wherever they may occur, and this joint effort with RIM will help companies boost employee productivity, which in turn can reduce costs and enhance customer service."
Businesses in the hospitality and retail industries, such as hotels, print and copy retail stores, and airport lounges, can easily incorporate HP ePrint mobile printing into the list of services they provide to increase customer preference and improve brand awareness. As the mobile workforce grows, businesses can use public print locations to help ensure they have the solutions they need to be successful while away from the office.
"HP ePrint for BlackBerry smartphones provides an incredibly valuable capability for mobile workers, allowing them to print documents such as contracts, invoices, presentations and spreadsheets on the spot," said Jeff McDowell, senior vice president, Business Marketing and Alliances, Research In Motion. "It allows them to be more responsive to their business partners and customers, and be more productive while away from their desks or outside the office."
More information about HP ePrint will be available during the HP Breakout Session today at 4:30 p.m. ET in Grand Ballroom 6, and in the presentation by Victor Garcia and Robin Bienfait in Crystal K room on Wednesday, April 28, at 4:30 p.m. ET.

HP Buys Palm for $1.2 Billion and live concerns

Palm Pre
After months of speculation, smartphone maker Palm has finally found a buyer. HP has said it will buy Palm for approximately  $1.2 billion.
The move will give HP a foothold in the fast-growing smartphone business, at a time when HP rival Dell has its own smartphone available on AT&T.
Palm’s chairman and CEO, Jon Rubinstein, a former Apple executive, will remain with the company, says HP.
Over the last two years, Palm has tried to reinvent itself by introducing a new smartphone operating system called webOS and new phones such as the Palm Pre and the Pixi. The phones have been well-received, with positive reviews, especially for the latest versions, the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus.
But Palm has been stymied by lack of a big marketing budget, particularly when compared to its rivals such as Apple, Motorola and HTC. Palm has been steadily losing money and market share. And acquisition rumors have been rampant with companies such as HTC and Lenovo reportedly interested in Palm.
Now that HP has bagged Palm, it could mean a new direction for the latter. Access to HP’s distribution channel and coffers could help turn the tide for Palm.
That’s especially true for the enterprise channel — computers and smartphones for business users — where both Palm and HP have historically been strong. This might ensure Palm a healthy future as the corporate sidearm of choice, even if it fails to gain significant consumer traction.
“HP’s longstanding culture of innovation, scale and global operating resources make it the perfect partner to rapidly accelerate the growth of webOS,”  said Jon Rubinstein, chairman and chief executive officer of Palm in a statement.
HP and Palm are expected to close the transaction in the third quarter.

Hilton opens extended-stay hotel in Oxnard and live concerns

A new extended-stay hotel has opened in Oxnard in a move welcomed by city officials and business leaders.
The four-story Homewood Suites by Hilton offers 129 studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens. It is located next to the existing Hilton Garden Inn on Solar Drive, near East Gonzales Road and Rice Avenue and adjacent to Highway 101.
Thirty jobs were created when the hotel, which cost $10.5 million to develop, opened this month, according to General Manager Nadine Koch.
Curtis Cannon, Oxnard’s community development director, described the opening as “perfect timing” with the expansion of the Rice/101 interchange now under way. He said it’s a sign of faith in the local economy and local businesses.
“I believe it’s a great decision for Oxnard and for the business community,” he said. “We are underserved with different hotel types. There’s a bunch of bigger manufacturers like Procter & Gamble and Monsanto along that Rice corridor and they’re the kind of businesses that are driving this kind of extended-stay hotel.”
Nancy Lindholm, president of the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce, also welcomed the new hotel.
“There’s a lot of demand from people employed at or visiting the naval base, and extended-stay hotels also service families of patients at St. John’s Regional Medical Center,” she said. “The variety of hotel types we can offer enhances the attraction for visitors to come to Oxnard.”
The 98,798-square-foot hotel is the first Homewood Suites in Ventura County, although there is one just across the county line in Agoura Hills.
The Oxnard development almost didn’t happen, according to hotel owner T.M. Mian. He said that when he first considered building it in 2007, it didn’t make financial sense.
“Constructions costs at that time were so high we couldn’t justify it,” he said. “Then we saw construction costs come down (because of the recession) and we decided to go through the bidding process again and costs had come down.”
Mian, who owns Hilton Garden Inns in Oxnard and Calabasas and is developing a new Embassy Suites at the Ventura Harbor, said the economic downturn shaved about $3 million off construction costs for the new Homewood Suites.
Mian said he’s confident there will be enough customers for both his Oxnard hotels and that his new extended-stay property will tap into an unmet demand from travelers and business people for a more relaxed environment.
“The Hilton Garden Inn is a good corporate hotel and has good business from Monday to Thursday,” he said. “But we see at the Garden Inn there are a lot of customers who stay with us who are really extended-stay customers.”
Mian said the majority of extended-stay customers book for one to seven nights and about 25 percent stay seven to 21 nights.
“Many of these want a more ‘homesy’ feel,” he said, “and our hotel is absolutely beautiful.”

Hilton CEO Christopher Nassetta: Spring-summer promo; take up to 30% off rates at most hotels and live concerns

hilton hotel

Hilton CEO Chris Nassetta is Hotel Check's guest-hotel-CEO blogger for April. He wrote his first post on  Monday. Here is his second post (my emphasis in bold):
If you read my blog on Monday, you may remember that I am spending a few days working at one of our hotels as part of an immersion program. My rotation has already included time in the front office of our hotel greeting guests upon arrival, checking them in and assisting them with their luggage. This gave me the opportunity to speak with several of our valued HHonors members who were visiting our hotel.
If you have seen the movie "Up in the Air," you will know how passionate people can get about building up their hotel points. Once a guest joins our loyalty program, they rarely leave. In fact, research shows that the first guest-loyalty program someone joins is the one they remain loyal to for life. That type of allegiance is invaluable to our business, but we also understand that long-term customer loyalty needs to be earned and maintained over time. This means continuously thinking about new ways to keep our Hilton HHonors loyalty program in line with our guests' evolving needs.
As part of this, we constantly evaluate what these needs are. For example, we know that today value is more important to our guests than ever before. Though I believe the worst of the economic crisis is behind us, consumers and businesses are still being careful with their money. That's why we're striving to give our guests the biggest bang for their buck.
One way that we help not only Hilton HHonors members but all of our guests get the most for their money is with valuable promotions. For example, today I am announcing here for the first time that, beginning on May 10, guests can receive up to a 30% discount for stays between May 28 and September 6, 2010 at most of our 3,500 hotels around the world. The reduced rate also includes free breakfast. We are really excited about this promotion since it extends across all of our brands – from focused-service brands like Hilton Garden Inn, all the way to our luxury brands, Conrad and Waldorf Astoria.
We typically run more than 1,000 targeted promotions a year – and because of the scale of our business in 81 countries around the world, guests aren't bound by geography when they decide to spend points. One goal of these promotions is to attract new guests who will enjoy their experience so much that they will sign up for Hilton HHonors and will return for many more stays at our properties.
Our goal is to continue to invest in our HHonors program in order to reward our loyal guests. It's a two-way street: we want our loyalty members to stay close to us, and we want to stay close to them to make sure we're meeting their needs. I am pleased to say that we have more members than ever before as we recently surpassed 25 million members. Additionally, Hilton HHonors enrollment from January to March 2010 were the highest enrollment levels for the program during those months within the last four years. Some Hilton HHonors members – such as Mohammed Al Mazrooei, a Hilton HHonors member, who reached one million Hilton HHonors points on his 79th stay at Hilton Fujairah Resort – are Diamond members (our highest level) who have a lot more points than even George Clooney's character in "Up in the Air!

Get A Sneak Peak At Nike's New Cold Running Apparel!!

Mark Beier

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend!

Last week I posted a blog about my opportunity to check out Nike's newest Dynamic Support running shoe called the LunarEclipse+. Today I wanted to review the new Running Bra and Nike's New Cold Weather Running Apparel they will be releasing in the fall of 2010. The innovations in apparel are just as impressive as the innovations in their Dynamic Support running shoes, if not more.

First let's talk about something that only relates to the women out there because women are becoming a much larger part of the running society than they were 5 and 10 years ago. Which is awesome, go ladies! And because of this, Nike has spent numerous hours developing a product to support something that is near and dear to every women...her breasts. Nike has spent over 15 years developing the running bra because studies show, the most important piece of running gear for a woman is her sports bra, even more important than her running shoes. This year, Nike has developed 2 new running bras coming out in the fall for all of you ladies out there, the Nike Swift U-Back Running Bra and the Nike Swift X-Back Running Bra.
